The Soliya Network online platform was designed to build meaningful ties between Soliya Network community members by utilizing social media tools that are both accessible and user-friendly. The platform will enable the Soliya Network members to perform the following 3 actions very well:
Communicate:
The Soliya Network Blog (http://soliyanetwork.blogspot.com/) is a 2-way information channel for all communication regarding the Soliya Network. News and updates will to be posted here including Soliya announcements, training opportunities, selected recordings of activities (like Dinner for 8), and reference materials for Soliya trainings. This is a public website and Soliya Network members (and visitors) are encouraged to share posts that they like with their friends and followers.
Interact:
The Soliya Network Hub (https://plus.google.com/communities/106207862084310644102) is a closed and private group that allows you as a Soliya Network member to share your news, ask for advice for your project or share interesting opportunities with the community. Members also can have impromptu face-to-face video meetings with the help of Google+ Hangout which is integrated within the Hub.
Collaborate:
Building strong ties between community members is facilitated through Soliya Network trainings and activities hosted on Soliya’s video conference app (http://cms.soliya.net/). Other online tools are also available for community teamwork like Google Drive which allows for co-authoring of documents and file-sharing.
